After years of playing golf in the South Florida heat and working as a golf professional, Saddle Up Briefs founder Randall Grills saw a chance to improve men’s underwear for golf and any activity that involves movement. His goal was to develop a men's support product that would perform well on the golf course, in the gym, and on any other field or court.

To make his idea a reality, he bought an old sewing machine to create prototypes for his golfing friends, guys from the Friday night softball league, his son, and his colleagues at the USCG Helicopter Rescue Swimmer base on Cape Cod. Given the physical demands of their work, maintaining peak physical condition is essential for them, and they spend many hours in the gym each week.
